The West Pasco Quilters' Guild 2017 Charity Quilt

"Baltimore Gathering"

Each year, the members of the WPQG produce a bed sized quilt and sell opportunity tickets to the public, to raise money for a local Charity.  There are many opportunities to view the quilt and purchase tickets, when the quilt is displayed around the community at different events. One or two members are chosen yearly to coordinate this project and they enlist the help of  many of our Guild members.  This is a two year commitment, as it takes one year to complete the quilt and another year to sell the 5,000 (plus) chances.
This beautiful quilt, Baltimore Gathering, was created from the pattern, Baltimore Tribute Appliqué, designed by Mary Sorensen,  www.MaryAppliques.com, and was coordinated by Nancy Meinhardt, Merna Allen, Pam King, and created by the WPQG Small Group, The Gathering.  The quilt is hand appliquéd and quilted.
         A.F.I.R.E. of Pasco County, Inc.
is the charity that will benefit from 100% of the donations made on this quilt.
For more information on purchasing chances on this quilt, please contact us at postmaster@westpascoquilters.org.  Thank you.
