Every other year, the members of the WPQG produce a bed sized quilt and sell opportunity tickets to the public to raise money for a local charity. There are many opportunities to view the quilt and purchase tickets, when the quilt is displayed around the community at different events.
One or two members are chosen to coordinate this project and they enlist the help of many of our Guild members. This is a two-year commitment as it takes one year to complete the quilt and another year to sell the 5,000 (plus) chances.
100% of the monies raised from ticket sales will benefit the chosen charity.

2026 "LIBBIE'S GARDEN"
Each year our members nominate organizations that require assistance with meeting the needs in our community.
Permission was granted to WPQG by
Overbrook Quilt Connection, Overbrook, Kansas to use the pattern, Kansas Album Quilt, as our fundraising quilt.
Opportunity tickets will be for sale at all West Pasco Quilters' Guild meetings along with other events being held in the community.
